What are digital PR services?
Digital PR services, sometimes called online PR services, earn coverage for a brand in online publications: national and regional news, trade titles and high-traffic consumer sites. The coverage builds awareness with real readers, and the links journalists include when they cite you, the PR links, build the search authority Google rewards. Our digital PR services cover the whole job: finding the story, writing the asset, pitching named journalists and reporting every placement.
Read the plain-English guide to digital PR →Comparing online PR companies
Companies selling online PR usually fall into four groups. Traditional PR firms manage reputation and press relations, with links as a side effect, while digital PR agencies like ours research and write stories for journalists and report the coverage and links they earn. Link marketplaces sell placements from a list, usually guest posts, and press release wires publish a release across syndication sites where links are normally nofollow. When you compare, ask each one for recent articles with live URLs, a sample report and what happens if a batch runs late.

How a campaign runs, in five stages
Insight
We research your business, your market and public data for stories journalists will want, and plan which pages need authority.
Angle
We shape it the way a news desk needs it: timely, concrete and relevant to the readers of the titles we are pitching.
Asset
We write the data piece, release or expert comment to a standard a journalist can lift from without a rewrite.
Pitch
Named journalists who cover the subject, each approached individually, with one useful follow-up.
Coverage
Every placement reported with the publication, URL, link attribute and the page it points to.
Clear commitments before work begins
Every package sets a placement minimum, a delivery window and a reporting standard up front.
We aim to finish each batch within 30 to 45 days of starting. When a publisher runs late, the work carries on until the batch is done.
Only live, checked articles count towards it. If a story stalls, we develop new ones until the agreed number is published. We don't promise particular titles.
Each placement is an article a journalist or editor chose to publish, on a site with its own readers. We don't use private blog networks or link farms.
There's no minimum term. You can switch package for the next batch, or give notice to stop.
We research and write the stories, pitch them to journalists and keep going until your agreed placements are live.

What do your digital PR services include?
Our team researches story angles from public data, FOI requests and your market, writes the data pieces, releases and commentary, pitches each story individually to named journalists, and reports every placement with its URL, publication and link attribute. You don't need to supply stories or data. Packages define the number of editorial placements per month; bespoke retained programmes are scoped on request.
How much do digital PR services cost?
Packages start at £2,500 a month for a five-placement campaign batch, £4,500 for ten and £8,000 for twenty. All plans are month to month. Bespoke programmes covering multiple markets or regulated sectors are quoted after a short scoping conversation.
What is a digital PR link?
A digital PR link, sometimes called a PR backlink, is a link earned when a journalist covers a story you gave them and cites your site inside the article. It sits in editorial content on a title people know and carries a natural anchor. It's the kind of link Google's guidelines describe as editorial.
Do you guarantee coverage in specific publications?
No. Journalists decide what they publish, which is what makes earned coverage worth having. What we commit to is the number of editorial placements in your package, on publications people read. We aim to complete each batch within 30 to 45 days and keep developing stories until the agreed number is live, then report what ran and where.
How long does a digital PR campaign take?
Reactive commentary can land the same day. A planned data study takes four to eight weeks from agreed idea to published coverage. Our package commitment is to target completion of each agreed placement batch within 30 to 45 days of receiving the brief.
How does digital PR fit Google's link spam policies?
PR links are earned editorially: a journalist chooses to cite you inside a news story, with a natural anchor. We don't use PBNs, link networks or sponsored placements dressed up as coverage. Google treats links made mainly to manipulate rankings as link spam, and no agency can promise how Google will assess a particular site.
